Origins<\/h2>\n

\"\" The Volpe Family name is familiar in the Lehigh Valley. Americo Volpe emigrated from Italy in 1915. He immediately started chasing the American dream at age 11, and through his hard work and relentless pursuit of his dreams, he was able to open several businesses over the years (Restaurants, Cannery, Bakery).<\/p>\n

Americo decided to open an American restaurant, what is now Volpe\u2019s Sports Bar Allentown (19th and Tilghman St) in the early 1940s and continued to operate a comfortable neighborhood bar and eatery until he retired in 1972-and the family kept the business going. In 1981 Americo passed on and then in 1984 his son Robert took over operations of the family business and made it into the Lehigh Valley landmark it is today.<\/p>\n

\"\" Volpe\u2019s Sports Bar remains a local family business now involving Robert\u2019s three children Mike, Fran and Robin, who each play a big part in continuing to grow the business and build on their Grandfather\u2019s creation. In 2008 Fran branched out and opened a second location, Volpe\u2019s Sports Bar Emmaus (5th & Broad St, Previously the Broad St. Saloon). Each sports bar has unique features but always the familiar, comfortable family business setting.<\/p>\n

At Volpe\u2019s Sports Bar, we pride ourselves in running a clean, safe and affordable establishment where people can relax and feel comfortable while they enjoy our tasty food and spirits. Both locations feature all of the major sports packages with 20 HD TVs. Both locations also serve much of the same classic food Volpe\u2019s has served for decades. Allentown PA:<\/strong> Located in Allentown\u2019s West End. Relax outside and watch your favorite sports game on our new patio. Inside, play classic Tavern Games (Pool, Darts, Pinball, etc.). Enjoy all of your favorite Beers on Tap with over 16 Draft Beers to choose from (Domestics, Imports and Seasonal Crafts). You can even select a premium cigar from our humidor. We also have over 100 different brands and packages of cold beer to go. Our patio is open until 1:00am with 4 TVs and patio specials!<\/p>\n

Emmaus PA:<\/strong> Located in Emmaus on Broad Street, there are two different bars to choose from. One is the Original Bar dating back to the 20\u2019s (Modern Day Cigar Bar) or our Main Bar\/Dining Room (Smoke Free Environment) with 20 TVs and a Pool Table. Rotating over 12 Beers on Draft and 50+ Bottled Beers, and a great take out menu for food.
